Honey and Sriracha Chicken Wings

I, firmly, am of the belief that if you love someone, make them chicken wings. So if you have been to our house and not had them well ...

Jokes, just let me know and I'll make them for you or better yet, now that you have the recipe, you can make them for me.

Time: 1.5 hours

Serves: 4 (or 2 very hungry people)

Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

Chicken Wings

  • 16 chicken wings

  • 1 tablespoon of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of pepper

  • 1 teaspoons of paprika

  • 2 tablespoons of baking powder

Sauce

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 1/3 cup sriracha sauce

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • a drop of sesame oil

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees Celsius.

  2. In a bowl mix together the salt, pepper, paprika and baking powder.

  3. Place the chicken wings in a bowl, sprinkle the seasoning over them toss to coat. They aren't the prettiest but you are on the right track.

  4. Spread the chicken wings out onto a rack that is suspended above a roasting tray lined with foil and roast for 20 minutes before turning and roasting for another 20 minutes, turning once more and roasting for a further 15 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and crispy.

  5. While the chicken is roasting prep your sauce by combining the honey, sriracha, vinegar and sesame oil together in a large bowl and whisking to combine.

  6. Remove the wings from the oven and place in the bowl with the sauce and toss until the sauce completely coats the wings.

  7. Serve with blue cheese dipping sauce

Happy cooking X
